Jon Alford has been named Chief Financial Officer at Medical City Denton, effective April 18, 2016.
In his 12 years of healthcare finance, Alford worked with Baptist Health in Little Rock, Arkansas, Wake Forest Health in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, as well as Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, Michigan. He most recently served as Senior Vice President of Finance at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, OK, a unique partnership hospital between HCA and the state of Oklahoma. While at OU, Alford was responsible for the daily financial oversight of the complex health system that includes a 340 bed Level 1 Trauma Center, a 335 bed women’s and children’s hospital, and an 80 bed community hospital.

Alford received both his B.A. and M.A. in accounting at Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas and is a Certified Public Accountant. Additionally, he served in the United States Marine Corps Reserves for 9 years and was deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
