Medical City Healthcare workers supporting other health care workers in times of crisis

Employees from Medical City Denton joined with hundreds of their colleagues from other Medical City Healthcare hospitals to sign a banner of support that was presented Friday, October 31, to healthcare workers at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas. The banner, representing 10 HCA hospitals across the Metroplex, read, “In tribute to your dedication and perseverance, we stand with you,” and contained hundreds of messages of support and solidarity from HCA employees.

“We have always said that nursing and care of patients transcends competitiveness of any type and you all have so clearly demonstrated that today,” said Texas Health Presbyterian CNO Dr. Cole Anderson, “We cannot thank you enough for the support, kind words and the amazing banner.”

The 10 Medical City Healthcare hospitals included Medical City Dallas Hospital, Medical City Children’s Hospital, Medical City Denton, Las Colinas Medical Center, Medical City Arlington, Medical City Lewisville, Medical City McKinney, Medical City North Hills, Plaza Medical Center, and the Medical Center of Plano.
